BF is.. in 4DX is WILD, I COULDN'T STOP GRINNING. A SLAY.
After BF is… it went to BE:FIRST’s BE:ginnings. They chose to go with Manato during THE FIRST, which had a cool transition of him picking up the mic then switching to Manato from THE FIRST then switching back as THE FIRST Manato begins to sing so the next song starts.
Brave Generation? YOOOO, even better?! I'm at a loss. Is this me just having never gone to 4DX and completely biased towards the song or..?! Refreshed my love for this song
Objectively I think the 4DX effects worked for some songs (Spin!, Scream, and Boom Boom Back) but not as so for others. Maybe it's just me though, this is all subjective 😂😅🙏
And oh gosh the Message Acoustic ver. Wlshskaabsh
Shunto and Ryuhei? The world needs to look out for them, like damn. Nobody know they're the youngest.
Sota and Leo's vocals leveling up can't stop and not stopping. I am so proud of them both in this version 🥺😭🙏✨
Ryoki had a good balance between emotion and explosiveness for this edition 👍
Manato and Junon?? Sirs just slaying the vocals honestly.
As for the behind the scenes and cuts to the rehearsals and backstage. They're how they usually are in YMB, but toned down cuz they're broadcasting this across Japan and parts of Asia obviously. (Though seeing the boys on such a big screen is a joy fr fr)
Lots of baby fish moments with Ryuhei, now that he's gotten his ears pierced and been going for the no bangs instead of his bangs look, it's like I'm seeing a much younger Ryuhei in this movie even though it hasn't even been a year yet, wlahssjsj.
Lots of adorable LEO moments. I also liked what Ryuhei said about him 🥺🙏
(That he's the backbone of the group and RyuRyu's first impression of 🦁 was that he's a very kind-hearted person)
(Manato thinks LEO is the one that brings them all together and is very reliable)
There were some new footages of THE FIRST shown, plus behind the scenes of the boys prepping for Yoyogi (where you see them being kind-of-chaotic).
I wanted to LOL seeing boss being interviewed as well. He makes appearances! As does Kensuke and the mother, RyonRyon.
Mazz made an appearance at the very end during the credits rolling! (It was to congratulate beef for finishing the Yoyogi concert)
Other thoughts:
- I barely read the subs, years of practice 😂 – some of it was translated well, other parts they kinda translated too literally but translators don’t get paid a lot for the work they do, so what can you do really
- Lots of good Shunto shots (since it was the Yoyogi concert, and he ate that day up)
- LEO looking really teddy bear in the interview shots, plz
- SOTA and this hairrrrrr, never has he looked betttaaaahhhh
- Junon: :3 this face, constantly, in the interview shots
- They interviewed some BESTYs that attended the Yoyogi concert which BE:FIRST reacted to (the boys were all tearing up or crying (LEO) 🥺😭), aww. Lucky fannnsss!
